The
William Thornton Regatta: Every years
at the third weekend in October, make plans to sail in the Willie
T regatta, from Road Harbour, around Deadman's Chest (Yo
Ho Ho and a bottle of Willie T Rum!),and
into the Bight, finishing right in front of theWilliam
Thornton. The regatta, so-sponsored
by the Royal British Virgin Islands Yacht Club, includes the Virgins
Cup for yacht skippers of the womanly persuasion.
The 2005William ThorntonRegatta is tentatively
scheduled for the 22nd of October, coinciding with St. Ursula's
Day (for whom our islands are named!)
The
Original and Genuine Shotski,
found nowhere else! Our unique and wonderful "shotski",
the correct use of which is pictured at the right! (please
note that the mandatory safety belts are all correctly attached)
Look for the shotski hanging above the
bar, and ask the clever, friendly, helpful and fiendishly
sexy bartenders to explain the rules for safe use of the
shotski.

After completing the checkout and
qualifications for the safe and humane use of the shotski,
you may want to wash it all down with a tasty glass of
Zeus Juice. Strangely
enough, since one member of our distinguished bar staff
is named "Zeus", this means you'll have to ask
him, cause the concoction is an old Zeus-family secret.
OR... TRY THIS ZUES JUICE
RECIPE AT HOME...
Mix equal parts pineapple, orange, guava,
passion fruit and mango juice; add a splash of Coco Lopez,
a splash of grenadine and add dark rum according to taste
and goals for the evening. Mix over ice and top with a
sprinkle of nutmeg.
William Thornton's
own Willie T Rum Due to enlightened US and State rules
dating from the uniquely renaissance times when our
local pirate population bubbled up this bodacious brew,
we cannot ship Willie T Rum. Available only aboard
the William Thornton And darn well worth the journey!
